Care and growing

Leaves and growth

It produces a small number of large arrow-shaped leaves with a wavy edge. An older leaf often dies back when a new one grows.

Light

A bright spot without direct midday sun.

Watering

Keep the soil evenly moist but never waterlogged – the tubers rot easily.

Humidity and temperature

Needs warmth and higher humidity and dislikes cold and draughts. In winter it may slow down or drop its leaves and later sprout again.

Pets

Contains calcium oxalate and is toxic to cats and dogs.
